Simmi to me embodies the best of Sheldon Cooper and Robert Downey Jr with a little bit of fierce predator thrown in (although bless his heart, Simmi doesn't KNOW he is a predator!) Just what I needed to end a stressful work week. 4.5 stars

I was excited to continue the story and read about clean freak Simmi, and the book didn't disappoint! I had so much fun reading about this apex predator who is often frightened, defiantly neurotic, and hilariously naive about the trappings of humanity- such a cute germ hating bean. I also laughed at the ridiculousness at the start of the story when Simmi was more worried about the dirt and unsanitary nature of his surroundings than being threatened by his kidnappers....and chipmunks! Brilliantly FUN This is the second book by Amanda Milo that I've read. I really enjoyed the first - but this one ... so LOL funny. I absolutely loved Simmi - what a delightful bundle of neuroses! So much nicer reading a book that made me laugh than others that have made me cry. Last - I'm so with you on leeches, had one on me once 40 odd yrs ago - some things never leave you :-)

Great read! A germaphobe alien falls in love with a human after he heroically saves her. You really can't get cuter then that. I loved this story and the characters were so sweet and perfect. Definitely recommend.

belly laughing funny, romantic and engrossing my husband thinks I'm nuts, again, because I laughed so hard I had to clean my glasses before I could continue reading. absolutely recommend this book as a must read. the hero of the story is so extremely germaphobic and ocd, you have to empathize. and the heroine is a down to earth optimist. loved my escape time with Simmi and Aurora. thanks so much Amanda

Giggled and snot laughed through this book Simmi is wayyy to funny when it comes to germs and science. Everything is very serious and germs are very scary. Along comes Aurora with her silly way of keeping him sane in the forest. Can he escape with out some crazy disease or will he catch the love bug like his friend before him? Find out in this hilarious book!

Adorable Reluctant Hero and Perfect Heroine Aurora is the perfect foil to everything that is Simmi, and Simmi is just adorable. He is the surprisingly jealous protective hero of the story, and no one is more surprised by this than Simmi himself. The fact that he is so deliciously OCD just makes him more lovable. The story is trademark Amanda Milo. It contains humor, romance, adventure and is wonderfully character driven. As usual, the witty banter is front and center, and the story moves steadily Adorable Reluctant Hero and Perfect Heroine Aurora is the perfect foil to everything that is Simmi, and Simmi is just adorable. I didn't think I could like Simmi more than I liked him in Erreck's book, but BOY WAS I WRONG. An apex predator with a SERIOUS fear of germs who has no idea he's sitting at the top of the food chain and is as polite as polite can be CRACKS ME UP. Seriously. Simmi rocks. Waking up to find himself imprisoned by not-so-nice humans who want to do very bad things to him is bad, but it isn't nearly as distressing as having to navigate an unclean floor and leeches and CHIPMUNKS while escaping. Fortunately for Simmi, he has Aurora on his side. Sure, she's human and she laughs at inopportune moments (like WHEN CHIPMUNKS ATTACK!), but he finds he doesn't mind her nearly as much as he thinks he should. In fact, he kind of likes her way calming him down and getting him to focus. He likes it a lot. On Aurora's end, she likes the overly-fussy alien who is unswervingly polite (even after shrieking in terror) and who obsesses over cleanliness. She doesn't mind his exoskeleton or his tail and...actually, she really ends up liking both of those things. And the, umm, deposits he makes when they get busy. I'm having big love for these two. An OCD alien probably shouldn't fall fora human woman who leaks from her eyes when amused and has an involuntary vomiting reflex on occasion, but these two WORKED FOR ME. So hard. So. Hard. -Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal

Yes! It's finally here! It's Simmi time! As fun as the first installment, Contagion follows our favorite obsessive-compulsive, tail-sheathing germaphobe, Simmi. Like the last story, this one is told 100% from his point of view, which is delightful and very funny. Simmi has found himself in some trouble. He wakes up in a filthy room with human men who want to cut him open. He's not sure how he got here—or where here even is—but the infection potential danger is real. Like the last installment, this one is full to the brim with humor—much of it at Simmi's expense—and heart. Protective Alpha Simmi is amazing, and his pairing with Aurora is perfect. Thank you for the gift that is this book, Ms. Milo. All the puffy heart love for Simmi.

... exploded human. HOW UNSANITARY! Hilarious! Oh Amanda Milo has done it again! She has created a world full of characters with depth and expansive personalities that tear at our heartstrings. The dialogue in this one was riveting and hilarious, but it did not feel like a comedy. There were plenty of bad spots or tense spots in the book but they did not overshadow the romance that bloomed. I loved it and am eagerly awaiting the next book from her ..

Have a mentioned lately that IM TOTALLY HERE FOR THE 'STORY TOLD FROM THE ALIENS VIEW' scifi romance? Oh...well. Hell yeah. This shiz is the bomb. I totally tripped and crashed through the window that is tumblr's Humans Are Space Orcs posts, and this book seriously just capitalized on that fantasy. An alien? Laugh out loud FUNNY! I loved it! Amanda Milo did it again. Though I wish there was more to Aurora's background though I understand that the story was from Simmi's point of view i feel that I was missing something vital to Aurora and therefore didn't connect as much as with Simmi (who i would very much like to be friends with btw) but overall i really enjoy the story. I highly suggest reading Contaminated: Cosmic Fairy Tales before reading this but they are both stand alone nonetheless. Personally I loved Contaminated more but I'd pay money to see this on the big screen just so I can watch an OCD alien have a total melt down in the jungle! *ensue evil cackle*

This is more of a 3.5 and almost as much fun as the first book. Simmi is a hypochondriac alien who wakes up to find that he's been kidnapped! He manages to escape, along with a human woman, Aurora. I suppose it was to contrast Simmi favorably against the horrible humans, and give him a chance to play the hero, but I found that unnecessary. Simmi is scared of everything except Aurora. The lines he is coming up with have me in stiches! BACTERIA NOO BACTERIA!! ahaha!! Anyway, they start to get closer, Simmi is heaving less and less with Aurora's touch. Suddenly his mating marks FLASH AHHH!!! They fuck and it's magical. Simmi is unrecognisable, craving Auroras fluids; who would of thought! He is a fucking sex demon; those fangs and strong thighs hammering away will make all the panties drop. I'll have 10 Simmi's please, in all the colours!! (view spoiler)[They are in a bar playing pool after they finally crawled out of the forest and into civilisation when a familiar voice calls to Simmi; reunions yay!! The HEA ending is just the sweetest, like seriously there would be bloodshed if little halflings were not conceived (hide spoiler)] Of course Simmi remains overly germophobe (but that's why we love him right). They seem to fuck all the time, which is obviously my favourite part. The book was an absolute pleasure to read. So fucking funny and loads of juicy sex. This review dosn't do it justice, you must buy it.. like now.

Uniquely lovable This was a very good book. Personally, I normally prefer reading from the heroines POV or having dual POV. So I was a little hesitant when I realized the whole story was written from the hero's perspective. I feel like we don't often see softer or more submissive hero's in the way that Simmi is, but this author developed and described him well enough that he continuously grew on me. He was a little squeamish and gentle while still having plenty of moments showing his strength and hotness. If I had to pick one thing to change about this book it would be that I want more. But I think that's one of those marks you see in a great writer. They give you what the story naturally provides in a way that leaves you want more even when you were completely happy with what you read. So overall this was a great as-to romance, a pretty quick read and one that featured a uniquely lovable hero who finds his HEA with his heroine that is adorable. Very good book would recommend.
