Actual rating: 4.5 stars. An interesting issue, but I have a feeling it's setting up stuff that won't happen for years so it looses a bit of its magic.

The Men Of Steel story arc continues and Lex Luthor and Superman square off against formidable foes. One of the better Action Comic Rebirths i read.

Part two of the Men of Steel story arc relies heavily on action as one of the two new beings from another universe start to ground and pound Superman and Super lex . Their goal seemingly to prevent a future where Lex Luthor becomes the next Darkseid , but more powerful and evil . The whole comics is just panel after panel of action , with few panels developing the story . The new duo of possible villains easily beat Lex and Superman and abduct Lex to another planet in hopes of terminating him . Superman continues to doubt the new Clark's motives and possible involvement behind Lex's abduction while also pondering on whether he should save Lex Luthor or let the Godslayer kill Luthor so that another Hitler like scenario doesn't arise . Amongst all this Jon continues to intervene to help his father and the father and son's super-powered-relationship continues to grow in front of the readers eye . Another solid issue with good writing and art . Overall a good book to read

Superman stories are always more interesting with Lois and Jon. This imposter Clark is getting annoying, though.

A step backwards in an otherwise interesting series. I didn't care for the arc or the villains and as I write this I realise I didn't care for this issue.
